DeLille Cellars Winery Wedding – Woodinville, WA – Jenny & Tim + Visit us at Weddings in Woodinville!

This Sunday, January 29th is one of the most unique wedding events in the Northwest:  Weddings in Woodinville!  It’s a site by site tour of seven of Woodinville’s most wonderful wedding venues and at each venue, a group of hand selected vendors will be present to show how an event in that venue really comes together.  This year, we are thrilled to be the feature photographers at DeLille Cellars.  It’s a venue that’s near and dear to our hearts as we’ve made lots of happy memories there for ourselves and our couples :)

Joining us at DeLille will be an amazing team that you *must* come visit during your time on the tour.  Heading up the entire concept of the day is Jacky Grotle of Event Success.  She is a phenomenal wedding coordinator {complete with being honored as one of Junebug Wedding Top Wedding Planners in the World!} The team assembled to bring the vision to life is AA Party Rentals, Bella Rugosa {who you may remember from the flowers at Jen & Shan’s wedding}, Bogle Productions, Creative Coverings, Ekstedt Entertainment aka Seattle String Quartet, Espresso Elegance {yessssssss!}, Jones Soda, Kathy Evans Beauty, Lisa Dupar Catering, Luly Yang Couture, Merchants Design, Midori Ribbon, Seattle Metropolitan Bride & Groom, Sweet Treats, and The Woodmark Hotel!  Tickets are nearly gone so be sure to get yours ASAP!  Also… did I mention DeLille {along with many of the other winery venues along the tour} will be pouring wine?  ;)

To get you excited for our venue, I’ve rounded up our favorite 150+ images from Jenny and Tim’s DeLille Cellars wedding!  Jenny and Tim were married in their local church and hosted their reception at DeLille.  They took an exciting gamble on the weather by planning their dinner to be up in DeLille’s beautiful “island” where ceremonies are normally held.  The gamble completely paid off and the dinner was exquisite with a gentle overcast and beautiful, Northwest ambiance to it.  The couple hired one of our favorite DJs to work with, Chris Graves of Your Song DJ who created a swanky, classic mood the whole night.  As the evening drew on, the party moved into the tent and Carriage House.  Enjoy the peek into their day below and a great thanks to the following wedding professionals who helped make it a reality:

Reception Venue: DeLille Cellars //  Florist: the petal and the stem //  DJ: Your Song DJ //  Wedding Cake: Decadence Custom Cakes //  Getaway Car: British Motor Coach //  Brides Shoes: The Dessy Group //  Caterer: A Platinum Event

2012 Seattle Wedding Show Recap – Laurel’s Florals – Wedding Bouquet Ideas

One of the things I love most about the Seattle Wedding Show is the florists :)  It’s always so fun to see all of their creations and the different colors and textures that they bring together when they get to go wild on their own bouquets.  This collection is from Laurel’s Floral Decor.  I was happy to see her use some of my favorite things like lamb’s ear and David Austen roses.  Enjoy the set below and we hope you find some that will inspire you!

Best, Kimberly

2012 Seattle Wedding Show Recap – Washington Athletic Club – Purple and Silver Wedding Decor

I’m always a sucker for purple and silver wedding ideas so when I saw the Washington Athletic Club‘s display, I was smitten :)  The deep purple linen and the silver edged plate chargers are so pretty.  This wedding show gave us so many new and great ideas for Chiavari chair ideas.  Look below at how they wrapped some pretty feathers with that purple ribbon.  Totally simple and so effective!  Hope you enjoy the pics below!

2012 Seattle Wedding Show Recap – 12 Baskets Catering – Scout Vintage Rentals

12 Baskets Catering‘s booth at the Seattle Wedding Show may have been my favorite.  When I ran into Jenn of Scout Vintage Rentals early in the show on Sunday and she told me she’d had a hand in styling the booth along with the brilliant Heathoriginal, I knew it was going to be amazing.  Scout is one of my absolute favorite new things in the Seattle wedding scene because it’s this amazing collection of all kinds of beautiful and quirky objects that you can rent to spice up your wedding decor.  A quick peek below will give you so many ideas!  From the shabby chic table decor loaded with vintage clocks, glassy babies, spools, mercury glass, and weathered books, to the sweets table set at whimsical heights in bell jars, and the *genius* appetizers set under glass in dresser drawers, you really can’t go wrong with any of the ideas here!

Even the simple and unique idea of adding ribbons to the chiavari chairs instead of traditional chair covers is so effortlessly cool!  Well done, 12 Baskets Catering in making your booth look as scrumptious as your food tastes!

luv, Kimberly
