Seattle Engagement Photos on Queen Anne, Magnolia, and Pier 70

Kate and Cameron are sooooooooo much fun to hang out with.  We bonded with them instantly as fellow Australian Shepherd owners!  Their Aussie, Rocky, is HI-larious and you’ll see in the photos below.  This post is full of fun, and smooching, and lots of laughs.  We’re super looking forward to their upcoming Seattle Tennis Club wedding {and lots of hanging out in between}

PS.  Happy pinning, Kate ;)

luv, Kimberly

These are stunning photographs, Kate! Simply magical. I can’t imagine how hard it would be to pick your favorite, but I think a picture of the two of you walking in the crosswalk would make a great backdrop on your wall. :)

As Cameron’s (Un-biased) Aunt, these are fantastic pictures. All three are incredibly photogenic. Not sure how you got lucky picking the only day it did not rain in March to get the pics! I can only imagine how great the actual wedding photos will turn out.

Thanks for the preview of what is to come!

Aunt Renee

g.smythe (granma) - April 9, 2012 - 8:38 pm

Loved the natural settings. Especially liked the photo’s where Katie is obviously the one and only object of Cameron’s love filled eye! My favorite changes each time I look at them. The photographer is very creative, not to mention observant! I think I’ve settled on the night on the town under the street light where Cam is leaning against the light pole and Katie basks in his love for her. Great Photo’s! Yes, the gran-doggy is be-yoo-tiful too!

Susan - April 9, 2012 - 8:38 pm

Paper Passionista at Newcastle Golf Club

Our most recent wedding, Erin & Mike, at Newcastle Golf Club had such a beautiful vibe to it.  It was all whites and pinks and glamour.  One of my favorite things about the wedding was Erin’s choice of paper design for her escort cards and menus.  They were done by Paper Passionista and I’ve rounded up a collection of the highlights along with some other cute wedding images for your viewing pleasure!  {Isn’t it so lovely to see some GLAM happening in weddings!}

luv, Kimberly

Roche Harbor Wedding – Lazaro Wedding Gown – Emily & Matt

So after living in Washington since 1999, I *finally* went to the San Juan Islands last year with Loren for Emily and Matt’s beautiful and intimate wedding.  It is now easily one of my favorite places in the world and the photo opportunities… oh boy!  Endless :)

Emily and Matt were so awesome to share the day with.  They are from Nebraska and as avid cyclists, chose the San Juan Islands as their destination wedding spot.  That morning, we met up with Matt just as he was coming back from a giant bike ride which is incredible to me.  Emily planned the wedding from afar and had pretty purple accents in her sister’s bridesmaid dress, her bouquet, and that necklace!  To achieve these stunning, dramatic veil images, she took our advice and simply brought yards of tulle {get a white that matches your dress like she did!} and we simply bobby pinned it in for a few choice images.

Below is a look into their whole day!  From the getting ready, to running around the island, through the ceremony, sunset, and reception!  A complete vendor list is coming soon but we just couldn’t wait to share the images!

Matt is our son and they were so excited as they were planning this wedding. We had a wonderful time and we so appreciated the way you interacted with all of us. Perhaps the size of the party helped! You were kind, you were professional and yet we felt very at-ease around you. Thank you also for the quick turn around in sending us a DVD for the Omaha reception. I hope you enjoy many more visits to the San Juan Islands. Continued success with your business — God bless you both!!

Emily - March 31, 2012 - 10:54 pm

Thank you Kimberly and Loren for doing such a fabulous job! We love our wedding photos and album and really couldn’t have asked for a better couple to work with–everything was wonderful. The two of you made it a fun experience for everyone, and we truly appreciate all of your hard work, expertise and creativity :)

Jennelle - April 17, 2012 - 1:29 am

You are an incredible photographer! All of these shots are amazing! Love the tip about buying a bunch of tulle for the dramatic veil shots. Congrats to the beautiful couple!

Sleeping Beauty – Olympic Ballet Theatre – Premiering April 14th & 22nd!

I once again had the honor of photographing the image for Olympic Ballet Theatre’s poster of their upcoming production, Sleeping Beauty.  I worked with two beautiful ballerinas, Beatrix and Abby.  With the help of artistic director, Mara Vinson creating the perfect pose, this beautiful set below was born.

If you’re loving the images below, don’t forget to purchase your tickets for the performances happening April 14th and 22nd!
