Seattle has a new industrial wedding venue but you really wouldn’t know unless you have inside info on what alley to enter from and up which elevator to go. It’s the industrial event venue we’ve been needing for awhile and Hotel Max made it happen with their new space they call, The Artist Loft. It’s full of paned window and exposed concrete. Its a perfect blank canvas and we were there to photograph one of its first events – Ravishing Radish’s June open house. Check it out – light, chalkboard wall, great architectural bones for uplighting, and tons of space.
Ravishing Radish put the East facing chalk wall to clever use by writing out, not only their menu on it, but by listing the hashtags for the evening’s event! Combine that with Crimson Haze’s uplighting that smoothly transitioned through different colors that gave the room a constantly changing coloring, the space was transformed into something unique in just two elements. July Floral did darling little arrangements on the cocktail tables with one large, sculptural piece that worked perfectly amongst the concrete. Even though we were there as the sun was getting really intense and setting, the light in the space never became blinding and only added to the airy vibe.
